Title – Sherr, Producer – Sudarshan Sunder Raj, Director – Prasiddh, Music – Gummineni Vijay, Cinematography – Kitty Kaushik, Cast – Kiran Raj, Surekha, Chris (Gilli), Tanisha Kuppanda, Yash Shetty, Shobaraj, Bala Rajwadi, Veena Sunder and others.
Set around a marketplace, Sher is a well-packaged commercial entertainer. The orphan angle in the film is both interesting and emotional. In fact, this aspect becomes the foundation for a nefarious activity that has not often been explored on screen.

Director Prasiddh delivers a harmless and slow-paced first half where not much happens for nearly an hour. However, the post-interval portion comes loaded like a gun, and Sher Market begins to charge ahead like a bull.
At the center of the story is Shivu, an orphan who grows up with his friends in a market dormitory owned by Bala Rajwadi. Their frequent tormentor is the dangerous Gilli, who roams freely because he works for a powerful gang. Another surprise in the narrative is Bhuvana, who seeks revenge against Shivu. The story then moves into a flashback to explain her motives.

Once Bhuvana realizes her misunderstanding, the director pushes the screenplay forward with a few more surprises. How the quiet and innocent Shivu turns rebellious, and how dangerous people rise against him and his team, forms the rest of the story.
Kiran Raj delivers a stunning performance and shines in both action and emotional scenes. Chris, as Gilli, reminds one of Loose Mada from Shuniya. Just as the hero receives a grand introduction, the villain Gilli too gets a song and strong build-up in the film — obviously because he is the producer’s son.

The performances of Bala Rajwadi and Shobaraj are decent. The actor playing the doctor leaves an impact despite limited screen time. Yash Shetty appears in his usual angry and intense avatar. Tanisha Kuppanda, as a strict cop, performs adequately.
The title track, duet, and item song are fairly good. Kitty Kaushik’s cinematography is highly competent and visually appealing. However, the dialogues in this action-oriented film could have been more powerful and memorable.
Action lovers are likely to enjoy this film.
