‘Lord Gaaga’ is the title of the new film starring Shunya in the lead, with the tagline ‘Purest form of ego available’.
Directed by Y.K., who helmed the 2022 film ‘Gilky’ starring Chaitra J. Achar and Tarak Ponnappa, the film is produced by Muki under the Zero Gravity Film Productions banner. Shunya, who directed ‘Head Bush’, plays the lead role.
The film’s title reveal promo is going viral. Presented like a cinematic sequence, the video humorously features a protagonist who breathes cinema like oxygen, a director carrying buckets of story ideas, and a producer on an IV glucose drip after making short films. References to film discussions involving Rakshit Shetty, Lucia Pawan, Upendra, Kashinath and ‘Kantara’ fame Rishab Shetty add further intrigue to the reveal.
The title design features a head, brain, a man’s slipper and a woman’s slipper, along with the tagline ‘Purest form of ego available’. Evoking the style of Upendra’s films, the unusual and thought-provoking title leaves the rest to the audience’s imagination.
