Love is eternal. It exists across all ages and stages of life. Love Seasons is a new film that portrays love through the metaphor of three seasons, representing three distinct phases of life, each embodied by three women in the protagonist’s journey. The film carries the caption ‘Amara Madhura Prema’!

At a deeper level, the film conveys the message: “Don’t fall in love—rise with it.” The teaser of the film was released on Wednesday morning at Utsav Legacy.

Actor Rajesh Nataranga, one of the first to speak about the film, appreciated its concept and the efforts of the team. He said, “I felt something good about this project. The team has worked with care and caution.” He also noted that director Kruthwik had previously worked as an associate on the Kannada film Hoysala, and is now presenting a story that emphasizes that love never dies.

Recalling a famous line from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge—“Mohabbat is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow”—Rajesh Nataranga reflected on the timeless nature of love. Speaking about his role, he said he enjoys working with new teams and was approached for his current stature. In the film, he plays a middle-class father and a hardworking man.

Producer Manjunath NR has fulfilled a 25-year-long dream through this project, launching his son Mukunda Ramaswamy as the lead actor. He revealed that he sold a portion of his land to finance the film and expressed his desire to see his son shine on screen. Known for his humble and supportive nature, Manjunath was widely appreciated for taking good care of the team during production. “I was earlier in politics, but with my own strength, I have made this film. I want to produce good and clean Kannada cinema,” he said. The film has already been certified by the censor board and is slated for release in June.

Music director Veer Samarth, who has worked on nearly 50 films, praised Manjunath NR for his sincerity. “I have not seen such a humble producer. He is very clear and punctual with payments,” he said. Veer Samarth has composed five songs for the film, including an English track, which he described as particularly challenging. The lyrics have been written by Pramod Maravanthe, Dhananjay Ranjan, K. Kalyan, and others.

Lyricist Pramod Maravanthe humorously compared the status of writers to seasons. “I am currently in my rainy season—with a steady flow into my bank balance,” he joked, while thanking the team for appreciating his work, especially the song Maleyaago Modale.

The film’s lead actor, Mukunda Ramaswamy, who was quite talkative at the event, plays three stages of life—ages 16, 24, and 28. To portray the younger version, he lost 7 kilograms in just 32 days. “In life, we learn from our mistakes and grow,” he said.

Divya Keerthi, an undergraduate in theatre arts, plays Mary, a Christian character filled with emotional depth. She expressed confidence that her role would resonate with audiences. She hails from Chikkaballapura in Karnataka.

Chandana Gowda, transitioning from television serials to cinema, described the film as a new and exciting experience. Actress Sangeetha Anil plays a mother from the Christian community, marking her first such role since Cauvery Theeradalli.

Director Kruthwik (also known as Karthik) spoke passionately about the film’s theme. “The film is about belief and good deeds. In life, what is most valuable is not gold, but good deeds,” he said. He added that the film carries strong moral values, inspired by the works of filmmakers like Puttanna Kanagal and Siddalingaiah. Quoting a meaningful line, he concluded, “Baduku badukodu kalibeku” (One must learn how to live life).
