Produced and directed by Manjunath T.R. under the banner of Raya Films, the film “NH 66” has created considerable curiosity right from its inception. Pramod Shetty, Shruthi Hariharan and Rajesh Natarang play the lead roles in the film. After recently unveiling Pramod Shetty’s first look, the film team has now unveiled Shruthi Hariharan’s first look.
As the name “NH 66” suggests, the film is a travel story. The film carries the tagline “One highway many secrets.” The director has woven a thrilling story around three principal characters. The story takes place along the route from Mangaluru to Mumbai.
In the film, Pramod Shetty plays the role of a cab driver, while Shruthi Hariharan plays a passenger. Shruthi Hariharan, who has made her mark in Kannada and several other languages, has portrayed a role in “NH 66” that she has never done before. Shruthi Hariharan’s first look was unveiled recently and has received appreciation. Expectations for the film have also increased.
The shooting and post-production work has already been completed, and the first copy is currently being prepared. Efforts are underway to bring the film to theatres as soon as possible.
Producer T.R. Manjunath, who is a staunch devotee of Guru Rayaru, says that with Rayaru’s blessings and the cooperation of the film team, the film has shaped up as they had envisioned. T.R. Manjunath himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film.
“NH 66” has cinematography by Suneeth Halageri and music direction by Swaminathan.
