Sonal Monteiro said the film gave her the freedom to explore a character unlike her earlier roles. She praised Komal Kumar’s spontaneous comic timing and revealed that she recommended Vinod Prabhakar for the project. He recalled growing up watching Kannada films, particularly those of Dr. Rajkumar, and said Komal Kumar’s performance made him laugh even without knowing Kannada. He also described Sonal as his “third daughter” and said the teaser will convey the film’s essence while keeping its major twists under wraps.

Komal Kumar praised his combination with Vinod Prabhakar, comparing their characters to Krishna and Arjuna. He said the story by Tamil writer Selvam impressed him immediately and recalled the energetic performance style of his earlier hit Mr. Garagasa. He also agreed to reduce his remuneration because himself as producer he knows the producer’s financial difficulties.
