“Fear is the key element behind all dastardly happenings!”—the 104th film by centurion director Om Saiprakash, September 10 (World Suicide Prevention Day), has released a meaningful new song on the theme of fear titled Bhaya Bhaya…, with lyrics and composition by the ace writer-composer Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad.
Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad’s recent song on ‘Appa,’ sung by Rajesh Krishnan for an R. Ashok production, received a tumultuous response, and this new track on fear is also expected to make a strong impact.
When director Om Saiprakash shared the film’s concept—five different characters attempting suicide due to life’s setbacks—Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad promised to compose a song capturing this theme and present it to him. Another track in September 10 highlights differently-abled individuals in society who achieve success despite life’s shortcomings.
“Back in school, I used to watch Saiprakash’s films and dream of writing lyrics for him,” revealed Dr. Nagendra Prasad during his address. “From Mitchell camera to digital camera, Saiprakash has evolved with the times and gained immense knowledge. This song has become an integral part of the film’s narrative. Even the smallest change this film brings to society will be a success for director Saiprakash,” he added.
Kisan leader and good Samaritan R.S. Raju released the pivotal song Bhaya Bhaya… at the event. A longtime friend of Saiprakash, R.S. Raju will also star as the hero in the director’s next film.
“The cinema industry is like my family,” shared Om Saiprakash. “But in my personal life, my wife Smt. Rajamma always reminds me to respect women on screen, and I’ve maintained that principle throughout my career. This is one of the reasons I’ve connected closely with the audience. The 24 departments of cinema technicians have also helped me reach this level. In this film, a farmer, a lover, a businessman, and school students all reach the brink of suicide—but they are saved just in time by a doctor who helps them recover from despair. This film carries a strong social message,” Saiprakash emphasized.
Suresh, also known as Dombara Krishna, remarked that Saiprakash is always a calm and composed director. Having seen the film, he confidently stated that it will give courage to those contemplating wrong decisions in life.
Tanuja, distributor Kamal Raj, Ganesh Rao Kesarkar, Jayasimha, and others also addressed the media during the Bhaya Bhaya… song launch.
