The teaser of “Rangasthala”, produced by Dr. Revanna and Mohan Kumar M.L. under the banner of Aghor Motion Pictures, directed by Nithin Bharadwaj and starring “Girki” fame Vilok Raj in the lead, has been released. The teaser of this action drama has created considerable curiosity. Along with being viewed by a large number of people, the teaser is also receiving appreciation from everyone. The film has currently completed its shooting, and post-production work is underway.
“Rangasthala” is an action drama film. An unidentified person arrives in the village of Adkathodi. His mysterious and ominous presence slowly brings to light a dark secret that has been buried beneath the surface of the village’s history for years. As the mystery surrounding this stranger raises several questions in the village, the protagonist and his friends turn against him. Director Nithin Bharadwaj says that this is the main essence of the film’s story and that what happens next has to be seen in the film itself.
Originally from Puttur, director Nithin Bharadwaj is making his directorial debut with this film. Having grown up in a cultural environment surrounded by music, Yakshagana and art, he gave up his medical studies due to his interest in cinema and pursued film education at the L.V. Prasad Film and TV Academy in Chennai. He later worked on short films and advertisements. He is now making his entry onto the big screen as a director with ‘Rangasthala’.
Vilok Raj, who has acted in films such as “Girki” and “Daughter of Parvathamma”, is playing the lead in this film, while popular Malayalam actor Manoj K. Jayan is playing the antagonist. Manoj K. Jayan plays the role of a businessman from Kannur. Although he appears humorous on the outside, he is extremely evil from within. The story revolves around him as he comes and settles in a small village in Karnataka with a secret purpose. Shilpa Kamath is playing the female lead in the film, while B. Suresh, Sandhya Arekere, Harini Srikanth, Kushal B.K., Soumya Poojari and Radhesh Shenai are playing important roles.
The cinematography for “Rangasthala” is handled by Enosh Olivera and Manay K. Maruthi, while Judah Sandy has composed the music.
