In his 50th directorial venture, renowned filmmaker, actor, writer, and music director S Narayan has showcased remarkable transformations. Renowned for his melodious love stories and family-centric dramas throughout his four-decade career, S Narayan now presents an intriguing thriller shedding light on the societal menace of the ‘Blood Mafia’. The film introduces previously unexplored elements in its second half, adding to its allure within the thriller genre.

Set against the backdrop of a tragic event from 28 years ago, where a five-member gang caused the deaths of 1305 individuals in Bilikallu village, the film delves into the aftermath. Director S Narayan crafts a gripping narrative in the first half, keeping the audience engaged and eager for the post-interval segments.

This film boasts all the essential elements of a commercial success, with S Narayan’s meticulous screenplay elevating this Kannada production to a new dimension of entertainment, aptly dubbed ‘5D’.

As a series of murders unfolds, the police department enlists the expertise of Abhinandan (portrayed by S Narayan), an accomplished encounter specialist. Through Abhinandan’s swift actions, the seemingly docile Devika (played by Jyothi Rai), a cook and mother of Shakthi (Adhitya), is apprehended.

Devika, a highly qualified lawyer leading a modest life, reveals startling revelations during interrogation, prompting her son Shakthi to seek vengeance at her behest.

With three murders executed flawlessly, the remaining two suspects are placed under police protection, challenging Shakthi to complete his mission. Questions of how, when, and where linger, keeping the audience on edge.

The film’s climax presents a compelling resolution akin to removing a thorn with another thorn, leaving both law enforcement and judicial authorities astounded—a climax best experienced on the silver screen.

A cinematic treat for audiences, boasting Adhitya’s 25th film and S Narayan’s landmark 50th directorial venture, capturing attention through their charismatic performances and meticulous storytelling.

Adhitya impeccably embodies his character, while S Narayan brings a fresh perspective to his role as a police officer. Jyothi Rai shines as Devika, with Adhiti Prabhudeva delivering a commendable performance as an auto driver.

The meticulously crafted songs, including the enchanting “Pisu Pisu” duet and the poignant mother song, penned and composed by S Narayan, further elevate the film’s narrative.

Noteworthy contributions from Dharma Vish’s atmospheric background score, Kumar Gowda SK’s captivating cinematography, and Shivu Yadav’s seamless editing enhance the overall cinematic experience.

In her maiden production, Swathi Kumar delivers a compelling and thought-provoking film, offering valuable insights to audiences.
