‘KEKE’ film has quietly progressed in Sandalwood and is now nearing its release. The film’s special item song was launched today at the Kalavidhara Sangha Dr Ambarish Auditorium.
KEKE is directed by Somashekhar G.K., and features mostly newcomers in the lead roles. Ramali Nayak and Kalyan from Ballari-Hosapete have produced the film. Bharath India is the cinematographer for the film.
The music for KEKE has been composed by Kiran Totambail, who is known for the film Upendra ‘I Love You’. For the newly released “Guntur Ammayi” song, Kiran has not only composed the music but has also written the lyrics. The song has been sung by Aishwarya Rangarajan.
The song has been released through Alapana Audio. It is available to watch on the Alapana YouTube channel.
“Guntur Ammayi” is a Telugu-mixed Kannada song with hot, peppy beats. The song is enjoyable to listen to and is equally vibrant to watch. It is special because Sonu Srinivas Gowda, who has gone viral on social media for various reasons, has danced in this song.
After watching the song, during the press meet, there was a brief argument between journalists and the film team over the use of Telugu lyrics in a Kannada film song. Later, music director Kiran said that they would make corrections if possible.
Stepping into a film song for the first time, Sonu Srinivas Gowda shared her experience of working on her debut film song, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, and sought the blessings of the audience.
Incidentally, along with the release of the “Guntur Ammayi” song, the film team also celebrated Sonu’s birthday, making the occasion even more special. The post-production work of KEKE is progressing rapidly, and the team said that more updates about the film will be shared soon.
