Chennai, June 29: Hombale Films has announced its next film, bringing together actor Suriya, actress Kayadu Lohar and director T.J. Gnanavel. The project will be produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner.
The film was officially launched with a muhurat ceremony held at Park Hyatt in Chennai on June 29. Members of the film’s team and several personalities from the film industry attended the event.
Suriya, who has been part of the Indian film industry for over two decades, has received two National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards during his career. Apart from acting, he has also produced films through his production house.
Director T.J. Gnanavel is best known for Jai Bhim, which received recognition for its socially relevant subject. The upcoming film marks his first collaboration with Hombale Films and Suriya.
Hombale Films, headed by Vijay Kiragandur, has previously produced films including KGF, Kantara and Salaar. The production house has expanded its portfolio by producing films across different Indian languages.
Speaking about the project, Vijay Kiragandur said the production house believes meaningful films emerge when people with a shared passion and vision come together. He added that collaborating with Suriya and T.J. Gnanavel is a significant step towards presenting a sincere and meaningful story to audiences worldwide.
The film’s technical crew includes music composer Sai Abhyankkar, cinematographer S.R. Kathir, art director K. Kathir and editor Philomin Raj.
The makers are yet to announce the film’s title, storyline, additional cast and release date.
