Rocking Star Yash’s mother, Pushpa Arun Kumar, has launched a new film production company. It is named PA Productions, where P stands for Pushpa and A stands for Arun Kumar. This production house, named after Yash’s parents, is now producing its debut film. On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the team released the title and first look of the film.
For PA Productions’ first venture, the title Kottalavadi has been chosen. The film is being directed by Sriraj, who has previously worked under veteran directors K.V. Raju and Ravishrivatsa, and now takes his first independent step as a filmmaker with this movie.
Talented Kannada actor Pruthvi Ambaar plays the male lead, and popular television actress Kavya Shaiva is cast as the female lead. Veteran actors like Gopalakrishna Deshpande and Rajesh Nataranga are part of the supporting cast. Known so far for his lover-boy roles, Pruthvi appears in a complete mass getup in Kottalavadi. Even in the first-look poster, Pruthvi looks rugged and intense.
The main objective of PA Productions, founded by Pushpa Arun Kumar, is to give opportunities to new talent. In line with this, Kottalavadi features several newcomers. Along with debut director Sriraj, background score composer Abhinandan Kashyap and stunt director Sagar are also fresh talents.
Set against a rural backdrop, the story features Pruthvi Ambaar in an action hero role. The technical team includes Karthik S handling the cinematography, Ramisetty Pavan as the editor, Vikas Vasishta as the music composer, Raghu Niduvalli writing the dialogues, and lyrics by Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad, Kinnal Raj, Pramod Maravante, and Gaus Peer for the songs in Kottalavadi.
