The much-awaited 3D film Koragajja has achieved a historic milestone by having its tableau participate in the Mysuru Dasara Jamboo Savari and launching the film’s trailer in the presence of lakhs of people near Bannimantapa.

In the 416-year history of the Mysuru Jamboo Savari, which began in 1610 AD, this is the first time that a tableau representing a film has participated in the procession, thereby creating history.

As part of this year’s grand Dasara celebrations, organised through the ambitious public-private partnership initiative of Hon’ble Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar, Koragajja became part of the festivities and created a unique record in the film industry by launching its trailer.

Following the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s declaration of the Tulu language as an official administrative language and the recognition accorded to Tulunadu, the musical slogan “Tulunadu Kangolisutide… Karunada Kampinali…” (Tulunadu is shining… with the fragrance of Karnataka) resonated throughout the procession, adding extraordinary grandeur to the Koragajja tableau.

Among the grand procession featuring approximately 52–53 tableaux, the Koragajja tableau received the rare honour of proceeding very close to the Ambari (the royal howdah). Finally, the film’s trailer was launched near Bannimantapa. Director Sudheer Attavar, along with renowned Hollywood, Bollywood and Sandalwood artists Kabir Bedi, Meenakshi Seshadri and veteran actress Bhavya, producer Trivikrama Sapalya, executive producer and editor Vidyadhar Shetty, entrepreneur and dancer U. T. Zulfikar, and others, celebrated this historic achievement.
