The romantic melody Ninnantha Aparupa 5.1, a dream project of singer and composer Vani Satish, was recently launched by popular playback singer Vijay Prakash. Released under the Dvaar Music label, the song reflects Vani Satish’s passion for music and her determination to bring a long-cherished dream to life.

Vani Satish has not only composed and sung the song but has also shaped it with a blend of Indian and Western musical influences. Pramod Maravante has penned the lyrics, while Harshavardhan Raj has handled the musical arrangements. The song has been filmed in the United States, with the video shot in Portland in a single day with a team that travelled there for the project.

Lyricist Pramod Maravante said that Ninnamtha Aparupa 5.1 represents Vani Satish’s dream and reflects the rare passion required to pursue a creative ambition over several years. He described Vani Satish as an exceptional and rare personality whose passion is reflected in the project.

Music arranger Harshavardhan Raj said he felt privileged to be associated with the project and to release his work through the prestigious Dvaar Music label. He expressed the hope that album culture and independent music would grow further in Kannada.

Vijay Prakash: “You Must Find Your Talent and Pursue Your Dream” – Vijay Prakash, who launched the song, appreciated Vani Satish’s dedication to music. He said God may give everyone a talent, but recognizing it and pursuing it with commitment is what truly matters.

He observed that it was particularly encouraging to see someone come from the IT sector and work towards fulfilling a musical dream. He also recalled that the idea for the song had been discussed around five years ago, while the actual preparation took about a month. Vijay Prakash said the team had invited him to be part of the project, and he was in Portland with the crew to shoot the video in a studio in a single day.

Agreeing with Harshavardhan Raj on the need to strengthen album culture, Vijay Prakash said a three-minute song could offer the creative possibilities of a film in its own way. He also mentioned independent music initiatives by artists such as Sanjith Hegde, Aishwarya, Vasuki Vybhav and Sumedh, observing that such efforts were encouraging. He emphasized that people should create their own platforms to realize their ambitions instead of waiting for opportunities to arrive.

Vijay Prakash also shared an encouraging observation from his experiences in the United States. While adults may be familiar with Kannada film songs, he said he was delighted to find children there singing entire Kannada songs along with him. This, he felt, was a positive sign for the future of Kannada music.
