Recently, the unveiling ceremony of this statue was held. Dr. Venkataramana unveiled the idol of SPB. Kannada Film Producers Association President Umesh Bankar, Lahari Velu, SPB’s close aides Gopi and BV Srinivas, Sound of Music’s Gururaj, PRO Sudhindra Venkatesh, and singer Vishnu were the chief guests.
“I have a lot of love for SPB. A few days ago, when I went to Hyderabad, many things a friend said about SPB inspired me to make this idol in gold color. Today, those who know SPB closely have unveiled this statue,” said Madhusudhan Havaldar.
Many people are asking where to set up this SPB idol. Director Madhusudan Havaldar said that he will discuss it with everyone and install the idol at a suitable place. The dignitaries present shared their experiences with SPB, the unforgettable singer and human being.
