The release date of ‘Pinaka’, starring Golden Star Ganesh, has been officially announced. Produced by Vishwaprasad under the People Media Factory banner and directed by choreographer-turned-director Dhananjay in his directorial debut, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2.
The makers announced the release date by unveiling a special poster on the occasion of Ganesh’s birthday and extended birthday wishes to the actor.
Speaking about the film, director Dhananjay said ‘Pinaka’ refers to “a protector” and that the story revolves around the tradition of guardians. He said the narrative unfolds across two timelines and features Ganesh in a role he has not portrayed before.
According to the director, ‘Pinaka’ is mounted on a large scale and has been produced with a substantial budget. He said the film is a family entertainer and that several large-scale sets have been created as part of the production.
The makers stated that Ganesh’s new look in the film has drawn attention and that the posters released so far, including the birthday poster, offer a glimpse of the project. They also thanked the actor for his support during the making of the film.
The film is backed by People Media Factory and features a team of experienced technicians and an ensemble cast. More details about the project are expected to be announced in the coming days.
