The makers of ‘Mother Promise’ have released a new song titled ‘O Belake Ba Belake’ ahead of the film’s theatrical release on July 10. The film is produced by Dhananjaya KA, who also stars in it.
The song marks Dhananjaya’s first attempt at writing a children’s prayer song. Having previously written romantic and folk-based songs, he has now penned ‘O Belake Ba Belake’, which is presented as an emotional prayer song for children.
The song was filmed entirely at Siddaganga Mutt in Tumakuru with children. The cast and crew of ‘Mother Promise’ spent a day at the mutt, filming at various locations including the premises, the school and the kitchen alongside the children.
According to the makers, the film has already attracted attention through its promotional campaign, songs and other content released ahead of its launch.
Produced by Harsha in association with Daali Pictures, ‘Mother Promise’ is directed by Poornachandra Mysore. The makers describe it as an emotional film that also blends comedy and thriller elements.
Apart from Dhananjaya, the film features Nagabhushana, Vinaya Prasad, Geetha and Gurudutt, along with several newcomers.
The film also marks the debut of Dhananjaya’s friend Harsha Murundi Shivalingappa as a producer. ‘Daredevil Musthafa’ director Shashank has worked as the creative director, while Rahul Roy is the cinematographer and Navaneeth Shyam has composed the music.
‘Mother Promise’ is scheduled for a statewide theatrical release on July 10.
