Anushka Kagginere, the youngest contestant on Zee Kannada’s singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026’, is set to celebrate her 12th birthday on July 4. The young singer has drawn attention for her opera-style performances on the show.
A native of Kagginere in Sakleshpur taluk of the Malenadu region, Anushka is currently residing in Bengaluru. She secured a place among the 19 finalists selected through auditions held across Karnataka. She is the youngest contestant in the competition and the only participant from the Old Mysuru region.
Over the last two-and-a-half months, Anushka has maintained a consistent run in the competition, earning five Golden Buzzers for her performances. Her opera-style singing has become one of the highlights of the ongoing season.
Anushka is the daughter of Chartered Accountant Adarsh Gunduraj and Dr. Deepashree. Apart from his profession, Adarsh Gunduraj has also appeared as a lead actor in three commercial films.
Music director Arjun Janya has selected Anushka to perform an opera portion in a song for an upcoming star-led film. The recording for the song has already been completed.
As Anushka prepares to celebrate her 12th birthday on July 4, she continues her journey in ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026’ with performances that have earned her recognition during the competition.
