This film directed by Abhishek Nama stars Virat Karna as the hero and Kannada girl Nabha Natesh as the heroine.
‘Nagabandham’, the highly ambitious pan-India film directed by Abhishek Nama, is all set for a worldwide release on July 03.
Prior to that, the promotional activities of the film have begun, and the team recently organized a press meet in Bengaluru. Hero Virat Karna, heroine Nabha Natesh, and actors Garuda Ram, Bajrangi Prasanna, Vinay Biddappa and others were present at the press conference.
“I am happy to be speaking to friends from the Kannada media after nearly ten years. In the film ‘Vajrakaya’, the name of my character was also Parvathi, and in ‘Nagabandham’ too, my character’s name is Parvathi. This is a coincidence. However, the character in that film and the character in this film are opposite in nature. Director Abhishek Nama has created a very good story. Looking at the trailer, one may think this is a film with a spiritual backdrop. But it is not just spirituality; the film contains all the elements that audiences would want.
I have performed classical dance in this film. I have been learning Bharatanatyam since childhood. The song ‘Namami’ and the trailer from this film have won everyone’s hearts. The film is releasing on July 3, and I believe it will be a film liked by everyone,” said heroine Nabha Natesh.
“This is my second film as a hero. Abhishek Nama has prepared the story and screenplay of this film after conducting extensive research on Indian mythology and history. My character has two shades. A grand set resembling the temple at Thiruvananthapuram is one of the major attractions of the film. The art directors took many days to construct this set. A chariot of Thiruvananthapuram has now been prepared, and it is currently touring Andhra and Telangana regions. Kishore Annapureddy and Nishita Nagireddy have lavishly produced this film under the NIK Studios banner. The performances of the co-artists and the work of the technicians are excellent. We seek all your support for our film,” said hero Virat Karna.
“Director Abhishek Nama has created a wonderful story. I appear in this film in the role of Bhairagi. It used to take seven to eight hours to apply the makeup. The makeup was done by renowned makeup artists from Mumbai,” said actor Garuda Ram.
Actor Bajrangi Prasanna said that he plays the role of a Naga Sadhu in the film. Actor Vinay Biddappa also said that he has played a unique character.
This film, distributed by KVN, has cinematography by Soundar Rajan and music direction by Junaid Kumar.
