The film KD, produced by KVN Productions and directed by Jogi Prem, has cleared multiple controversies and has finally received certification from the censor board. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 30.

Starring Dhruva Sarja and Reeshma Nanaiah in the lead roles, the film also features Kichcha Sudeepa in a special role. A special interaction event with Sudeepa was held on Monday evening, alongside the release of another song from the film.

Director Jogi Prem, actor Dhruva Sarja, and actress Reeshma Nanaiah were present at the event. Kichcha Sudeepa, who appears in the avatar of Kaala Bhairava in the film, emerged as the main attraction on the stage.

Speaking at length, Sudeepa responded to media questions. He stated that his role in KD has come out well. While the film’s shooting lasted 150 days, his portion was completed in three days. He said Dhruva Sarja is like a brother to him and that he chose to be part of the film as Dhruva was working on a major project. He also described Reeshma Nanaiah as a good actress and appreciated both the lead actors.

Sudeepa also addressed the current challenges faced by the film industry, stating that the Kannada film industry is currently at a critical stage. He urged the media to support such films upon release.

He described director Prem as a passionate filmmaker who strives to deliver meaningful cinema. He said he liked every frame shot by Prem and added that he personally likes him and is willing to do anything for people he values. He also noted that Prem’s presence brings energy to the team.

Speaking about the controversy surrounding a song, Sudeepa said Prem has previously written meaningful lyrics that brought families together. He acknowledged that a mistake had occurred but has been corrected, and said that people should support their own rather than ignore them.

On piracy, Sudeepa said Dhruva Sarja has a large fan base that would help prevent it. He added that theatres are like temples and that audiences who have love for cinema will come to theatres to watch the film.

Director Jogi Prem said Sudeepa is like a brother to him and has always supported him during controversies. He said that when he approached Sudeepa for a powerful role, the actor immediately agreed. He added that Sudeepa plays a violent and powerful role as Kaala Bhairava, which audiences will understand after watching the film.

Later, Dhruva Sarja and Reeshma Nanaiah spoke about their roles and about Sudeepa being part of the film. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Ravichandran, and Ramesh Aravind in key roles.
