The trailer and song launch event of the film ‘Trikaram’ was held AT Kalavidhara Sangha with very good attedance. The mass trailer, a melodious romantic song, glimpses from the recent unveiling of a 50-foot cutout in Hosadurga, and visuals of the hero and heroine escaping an accidental fire while performing an action sequence were screened on the big screen. The film will carry the catchy tagline, ‘This Is Not a Crematorium’. Politician Ravindra attended the event and wished the team.
Theatre enthusiast G. Ganesh Murthy is producing the film under the banner of Sadguru Cine Productions and is also playing the role of a dangerous villain. Ajjampura-based Dilip Kumar J.R., who has learnt the craft by working with several directors, has written and directed the film as his promotion to the next level.
Harshavardhan Kesari is the hero and Nischitha Shetty is the heroine. Nagendra Arasu, Bala Rajwadi, Manju Pavagada and others are also part of the cast. Honnali Yasin is the cinematographer, Satish Chandraiah is the editor, Chandru Bande has handled the stunts, and Height Manju-Kambiraj are the choreographers. The lyrics are by Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad, Bharjari Chetan Kumar, Pramod Maravante, Keshav and Harshavardhan.
Speaking on the occasion, the director said that the story revolves around three characters—the hero, heroine and villain—and hence the title ‘Trikaram’ was chosen. “You have to watch the film to know why these three come together. It is a battle between the divine and the evil, involving an unfinished account of karma and dharma. All these situations unfold in the style of a suspense thriller. The entire film has been shot in Hosadurga and Marikanive, with large sets erected for the shoot. I request everyone’s support,” Dilip Kumar J.R. appealed to the media.
“I appear in two shades, as an innocent character and as Rudra. We have endured the pain and acted happily. I came to become an assistant director, but they gave me an opportunity to play the hero. I will always be grateful to the director and producer for that,” said Harshavardhan Kesari emotionally.
“I am a proud girl with a soft nature. During the daytime, I keep fighting with him, but when it gets dark, I follow him around. You have to watch the film to know why,” said heroine Nischitha Shetty.
“I have wanted to make a film since I was a child, and that dream has now been fulfilled. I have gone all out as the villain. You have to tell us how it looks,” said producer G. Ganesh Murthy.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres in October.
