Heartwarming social and family-oriented films are attracting audience attention in Chandanavana and enjoying successful theatrical runs. Joining this trend, another family entertainer is now gearing up for release.
Orata Sri, who has established himself as a director with films such as Orata, E Sanje and Kora, is now preparing to bring his much-awaited film ‘Shabari’ to the big screen.
The trailer launch event was attended by director Ravi Srivatsa, actor Orata Prashanth, entrepreneur Prashanth Chakravarthy, actors Praveen and Kote Prabhakar, and actress Bhoomika. They appreciated director Orata Sri and his team and extended their best wishes for the film.
The film has been produced under the banner of Bharavi Films by Ramesh B., Badri and Vishnukanth A. The three producers shared their thoughts about the project, describing it as a family-oriented film that audiences can watch together with their families. They appealed to everyone to watch the film and extend their support.
Speaking at the event, director Orata Sri said, “Our film’s song ‘Thandaani Thaano…’, released through Lahari Audio, has gone viral everywhere and received a very good response. I am delighted that my mentors and friends have come forward to release our film’s trailer today.
“Along with the bond between a father and daughter, a jeep also plays an important role in our film. I completed the film within the planned budget and schedule. With elements of suspense, thriller and mystery, the film is a complete family entertainer.
“Our lead actor Samarth has put in a great deal of effort. Actress Kruthika Gowda has also performed well. In particular, child artiste Dhanvi, known for the television serial Rani, has delivered an impressive performance. I have also received the support of several young talents in the technical team.
“Our film will be released grandly across Karnataka on October 23. I seek everyone’s support and cooperation,” he said.
Lead actor Samarth said, “I have played a good role in my debut film. This will always remain a memorable film for me. I acted according to the director’s guidance, and my co-artists also gave me excellent support. My father is one of the producers of this film. We are striving to present a good film to the audience, and I request everyone to support us.”
Lead actress Kruthika Gowda said, “Director Sri selected me for this film after watching my short film ‘Kirataka’. My character in Shabari is also quite different. I request all of you to watch the film on the big screen and enjoy it.”
Child artiste Dhanvi also said, “I hope you will all like my character. Everyone took good care of me during the shooting. Please watch our film.”
The film features a large ensemble cast, including M.K. Matha, Neenasam Ashwath, Seetha Harshavardhan, Yogesh Veer and Mandya Siddu, among others.
