The teaser and a song from Kalusha, starring Yuvan Prathap and Aishwarya Muthuraj in the lead roles, were recently released at an event. The film is produced by Prathap R. and Narahari under the banner of SPV Productions and presented by D Musics.
Actress Aishwarya Nag, known for Jolly Days, unveiled the teaser and wished the team success. Devraj N., head of Dev Groups and D Music, businessman Sachin Gowda, Anand, Maharaja Jaggi, Vijay Jadhav, Pooja, Ashok and several other dignitaries were present at the event.
Members of the film team subsequently spoke about the project.
“I am basically software professional and have been associated with the Kannada film industry since 2013. I have acted in a few films, including Robert and Gaala. This is my first film as a hero. I have written the story and screenplay for this film and have also produced it. Narahari has supported me in the production.
Manjula, Hema N.K. and Harshitha are the co-producers of the film. Shanmukha has directed it. The cast includes Aishwarya Muthuraj, Bala Rajwadi and K.S. Sridhar, among others.
Vinod Hiremath and Waseem Akram have composed the music. The word ‘Kalusha’ means anger and rage. This is a story woven around a medical mafia. As we know, many people who seem to have no one suddenly go missing as though they never existed. What happens to those who disappear is what we have portrayed in this film.
We have shot the film in Bengaluru, Davanagere, Harapanahalli and other locations. The teaser and song have already been released through D Music, the music label owned by businessman Devraj N. We will bring the film to theatres soon. We seek everyone’s support and encouragement for our film,” said producer and lead actor Yuvan Prathap.
“I have already acted in five films, but this is the first one that is being released. Although the film revolves around a medical mafia, it also has a love story. I play a girl from a middle-class family in this film,” said lead actress Aishwarya Muthuraj.
“Our D Music company has acquired the audio rights to this film. Our company has always supported new talent. This is the first film for our D Music banner,” said Devraj N., head of Dev Groups and D Music.
