The teaser of an upcoming Kannada film, described as an emotional journey of love, was unveiled recently. The film explores love not just between a man and a woman, but also the deep bond between a father and his children.
V. Ravichandran plays a pivotal role as the father. Ravichandran’s character is portrayed as a father whose love and faith in his daughter form the backbone of the narrative.
The film marks the debut production venture of H. S. Nagashree, who said Ravichandran was instrumental in the project and that the title and his character perfectly complement the story. The team is planning to release the film in October.
Written and directed by S. Supreeth, the film marks his transition to direction after 18 years in the industry as an editor. He has also worked under noted director Prem. Supreeth expressed gratitude to the producer for trusting his vision and supporting the project. He highlighted the film’s music, cinematography and extensive location-based shooting.
Rishwin makes his debut as a hero, while Rashika Shetty plays the female lead. Rishwin said he was immediately inspired by the script and described the project as the result of nearly four years of hard work. The film was shot across locations including Kashmir, Rajasthan, Chikkamagaluru and Karwar, with the team working in challenging weather conditions.
Rashika Shetty said the film was a demanding journey and praised Supreeth’s vision. She described her character as a bold and strong woman and said the film presents a different dimension of love beyond the conventional hero-heroine relationship.
Cinematographer K. S. Chandrasekhar has captured the film across diverse locations. The team has used drones and underwater photography, while several sequences were shot without relying heavily on computer graphics. Songs filmed in Kashmir and Rajasthan are among the visual highlights.
Music is by Palani D. Senapathi, who has opted for a largely live-instrument approach, including violins and brass players, instead of relying entirely on electronic sounds. The music team hopes the film will receive strong audience support and reach viewers worldwide.
PRO of ‘Pyaar’ Nagendra described the film as a “silver-screen golden film” and expressed confidence in the team’s effort.
With its combination of romance, family emotions, striking locations and a veteran performer like Ravichandran, the film is gearing up for an October release.
