Set in the fictional coastal town of Amaravathi, Amaravathi Police Station is a suspense thriller revolving around missing persons, murders and a series of unexpected incidents. Dharma Keerthiraj plays the lead role, while Gururaj Jaggesh appears in a special role.

The story, screenplay and direction are by Puneeth Arasikere. The trailer of the film was released by former Film Chamber of Commerce president Ba Ma Harish and senior film publicist Nagendra, who wished the team success.

The village head suddenly goes missing, and even the police officer who arrives to investigate the case disappears. Who is behind these incidents, and what is the mystery surrounding them? The film revolves around an undercover police officer who arrives in Amaravathi to uncover the truth.

Dharma Keerthiraj, who plays a suspended police officer in the film, said, “The director is like a brother to me. He has even reshot certain portions to ensure that the film turns out well. He has made the film with several well-known villain actors. Ronada Bakkesh has done a wonderful job with the music.”

Gururaj Jaggesh said, “The director is very confident. He has put in a lot of effort to ensure that the film turns out exactly as he envisioned. My character has a negative shade, a ruthless personality similar to Tagaru Dolly. It was a challenging role.”

Veteran actor Dharma said that he plays a police officer in the film. “The action sequences are very special. Dharma Keerthiraj has taken a lot of risks while performing the action scenes. The producer has also invested money by placing his trust in Puneeth,” he said.

The film’s heroine, Vedvika, who hails from Telugu cinema, said, “This is my first Kannada film. The entire film is set against a village backdrop. The duet song shot in Manali has turned out very well.”

Director Puneeth, speaking on the occasion, said, “As soon as I prepared this story, I narrated it to Nagendra senior PRO. We have also spoken about farmers in the film. We have shown the various problems people face because of artificial food. Malavika Avinash plays the role of a Commissioner. There are 29 artistes in the film, which has turned out very well. We are planning to release it in December.”

Later, villain actors Cockroach Sudhi, Vardhan and Dragon Manju spoke about their respective roles in the film.

Produced on the Young Power Pictures banner by Power Picture and N. Anita Sukendra, the film has been made on a grand scale. K.R. Pradeep Kamalapur and Mrs. Geetha Anjanareddy are the co-producers.

The cast also includes Sadhu Kokila, Malavika Avinash, Nagendra Prasad and Dharmanna Kadur.

The film features four songs, with music composed by Ronada Bakkesh. Gautam Matti is the cinematographer, while Different Danny and Ultimate Shivu have choreographed the action sequences. Deepu is the editor.
