The super hit film in the career of Rocking star Yash ‘Rajahuli’ is once again in the forefront. Not with Yash but with Honnaraj, who worked as an assistant ‘Rajahuli’. He has now turned hero-cum-director. He has written the story and screenplay and has wielded the megaphone for the first time for Mr. and Mrs. Rajahuli.
The audio release function of the film was held at the Artists’ Association. Minister Ramalinga Reddy unveiled the trailer and Lovely Star Prem released the songs. Producers’ Association President M.G. Ramamurthy and producer Sa. Ra. Govindu attended as chief guests.
The most touching moment of the Mr and Mrs Rajahuli trailer and audio release event was when Honnaraj honored five individuals who had financially supported him in completing the film. Among them were a visually impaired Veda, Manjunath, Sujatha, Lakshmikanth, Chikkamma, and Lingsur, all of whom extended their help despite their modest means and meager earnings.
Honnaraj emotionally promised to repay their support, irrespective of the film’s fate at the box office.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ramalinga Reddy said that Honnaraj has acted, directed, and also produced the film. He wished that the film performs well and earns four times the investment made on it.
Actor Prem said that Honnaraj is his junior and that Chamaraj Master was a guru to all of them. He wished Honnaraj good success for producing the film.
Sa. Ra. Govindu said, “You have had the songs launched from a popular and lucky politician Ramalinga Reddy. We will all stand as your backbone and will be with you during the film’s release.”
Speaking on the occasion, hero-director Honnaraj said, “This is a village-based film. The hero is a fan of Yash and a person who gives great importance to friendship. The story attempts to narrate, in the form of a family entertainer, the hardships he faces when he goes to his village with the intention of serving society and doing something good for it. The film was shot for 65 days in and around Maddur, Huliyaru, Chikkanayakanahalli, and Srirangapatna. Heroine Shruti Babita appears as a village market girl. Roopa plays the younger sister’s role. The film has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board, and we are planning to release it in September.
The film has been produced by Honnaraj himself under the banner of Sri Satyalakshmi Creations. Vinu Manasu has composed music for the film’s four songs. Shivaputra is the cinematographer, and Girish is the choreographer. Mysore Manjula, Rekha Das, Manjanna, Girish, and others have acted in the film.
