The real ‘Bala’ (Strength) of Karnataka politics, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, launched the ‘Karnata Balam Ajjeyam’ at a massive gathering on Sunday morning at Taj West End Hotel in Bengaluru.

“No one can dismiss history. My friend C.P. Yogeshwar, then and now his son—a new generation once again writing Ithihaasa. Sainika, 24 years ago, C.P. Yogeshwar was Maharaja, and his son Dhyan, who is like a son to me, is in the role of King Pulakeshi today. I normally do not attend muhurat events. I too am a cinema man,” recalled D.K. Shivakumar, Karnataka Chief Minister. I was in the Film Chamber contest too, in the days of veteran C.V.L. Shastry and Sa Ra Govindu.

“The empire has a new hero, Dhyan. Sandalwood has overtaken Bollywood,” felt DKS in his address, and expressed his feelings that it is difficult to manage theatres today. “Dr. Jayamala and her team recently met me and explained the current position of the cinema industry. Whatever support we give should also reach the audience. Where there is hard work, there ought to be good results. Let the films of C.P. Yogeshwar find success,” stated Karnataka CM D.K. Shivakumar.

C.P. Yogeshwar, MLA and producer, stated that the Kannada cinema industry should get the ‘Sparsha’ of our honorable Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar to reach the status of success.
