The pre-release event of the film “Elra Kaaleliyatte Kaala,” starring Chandan Shetty, was held recently. The film marks Chandan Shetty’s debut as a lead actor and is directed by Sujay Shastry. It is produced by Govindaraju under the Gokul Entertainers banner.
The film, set in the 1990s, is scheduled for release on April 24. It was initially planned for release on April 17 but has been postponed by a week due to unforeseen reasons.
Speaking at the event, director Sujay Shastry said the film has turned out well with the support of the entire team and expressed confidence that it will appeal to audiences.
Actor Chandan Shetty stated that the film’s release has been shifted to April 24 and noted that it coincides with the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajkumar. He requested audience support for the film.
Actor Tara Anuradha said she plays a notable role in the film. She mentioned her association with Sujay Shastry and Raj Guru Hoskote through theatre and also referred to her familiarity with Chandan Shetty and his family. She added that Archana Kottige is one of her preferred actors and said the film has been made by a good team with notable songs. She urged audiences to watch the film in theatres.
Producer Govindaraju thanked the team and said the film will be distributed by Chandan Films. Actor Archana Kottige also expressed gratitude. Actors Rajnikanth and Ananth Padmanabha spoke about their roles, while Kunal from Chandan Films discussed distribution plans. Producer’s associates Srinivas and Shankar conveyed their wishes for the film’s success. Usha Govindaraju was also present at the event.
The film features music composed by Praveen-Pradeep and cinematography by Vishwajit Rao. The story is written by Raj Guru Hoskote.
