For directors who aspire to direct their first feature film, short films are a suitable platform. Many short films have remained in the hearts of audiences. One such attempt has been made by Vikram Kumar from Mulbagal. He has directed a thirty-five-minute short film titled “Shravani”. After listening to and appreciating the story narrated by Vikram, Ashok Modi invested in this short film. Harsha Kalyan and Rani M. Angadi have acted as the hero and heroine. Deepa, Srivaishnav, Ranganath and others have acted in the short film. Recently, the premiere show of this short film was held grandly at Victory Cinemas in Bengaluru. It was special that a short film witnessed a houseful screening.
I am originally from Gudipalli in Mulbagal. It has always been my wish to become a director. As my first attempt, I have directed a short film called “Shravani”. This short film, belonging to the love and sentiment genre, has been made in both Kannada and Telugu languages. The short film is coming in two parts. The first part will be released on the 26th on the Non Stop Entertainment OTT platform and on the TMP Picture YouTube channel.
After appreciating the story I narrated, Ashok Modi invested in it. He produced it without allowing any shortcomings. “Shravani” has cinematography by Vijay Monterio and music direction by Rohith Poojari. There is also a song in this short film, said director Vikram Kumar.
I have been working in the film industry for many years. I came here with the aspiration of becoming an actor. That dream has been fulfilled through this short film, said hero Harsha Kalyan.
Heroine Rani M. Angadi, actress Deepa, Ranganath and others provided information about their roles. Producer Ashok Modi thanked his team and everyone who attended the screening.
