Short films serve as a good platform for many talents to showcase their skills. Many actors who started in short films later perform impressively on the big screen. Yashwanth, a young actor, has begun his acting career through a 30-minute short film titled Aakrosha, written and directed by Gowrishree.

The short film was produced by Jagadish Verma. Recently, the film’s screening and a press conference were held, attended by senior directors Om Sai Prakash, Purushottam Onkar, Ratnamala, and others as chief guests. They encouraged the short film team with words of support. Afterwards, the team members spoke.

Ratnamala introduced producer Jagadish Verma to the team. She said they wanted to introduce her son Yashwanth as a lead actor in the film industry, and thus decided to make a film. Initially, they chose to create a short film so that the new actor could learn acting before moving on to full-length films. Gowrishree, who has previously directed films such as Amoolya, Reethu, Janarakshaka, and Bharati IPS, stated that Amoolya and Janarakshaka are ready for release.

She added that the story for Aakrosha was completed in one day and the filming was done in two days. New talent Yashwanth learned Kannada while acting in this short film. A new film starring Yashwanth as lead will soon begin shooting, and Aakrosha was made as a prelude to this.

The film’s technical team includes Rajaravi as cinematographer, Vinu Manasu as music director, and Shivraj Mehu as editor. The cast features Yashwanth, Gururaj Hosakote, Bhagy, Pravallika, Prema Malur, and Gowrishree herself.

Yashwanth said, “Aakrosha” is my first attempt. I plan to act in feature films in the future. I hope for everyone’s encouragement.
