The first lyrical video from Junior, the debut film of actor Kiriti, has been released. The song titled “Let’s Live This Moment” was launched in both Kannada and Telugu through the Aditya Music channel.
The song release event was held at a private hotel in Bengaluru. The event was attended by actor Ravichandran, Baahubali and RRR cinematographer K. K. Senthil Kumar, music director Devi Sri Prasad, producer Rajani Korrapati, director Radha Krishna, and the film’s crew.
Speaking at the event, actor Ravichandran said that Radha Krishna has a unique storytelling style that leaves an impression. He described the film as “my Junior”, highlighting his connection with it. Ravichandran shared that watching the film during dubbing felt like a happy journey. He remarked that the duration taken to complete a film is less important than how it engages the audience. He noted Kiriti’s courage in choosing such a subject and expressed that not many newcomers opt for such scripts.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad shared that he was glad to be part of the film and mentioned that Kiriti had selected a story with emotional depth. He said his own journey began with love stories and emotional films. Telugu lyrics for the song were written by Srimani, while the Kannada version was sung by Pavan Bhat. He also appreciated working with the team and highlighted Senthil’s contribution to the film’s visuals.
Actor Kiriti addressed the delay in the film’s release, citing a back injury sustained during a fight sequence. He thanked Senthil Kumar, Devi Sri Prasad, and Vijay for their support. Kiriti also expressed his gratitude for working with Ravichandran for 25 days, saying he learned a lot during that time. He mentioned co-star Sreeleela and noted her performance alongside Genelia in a previous film.
Director Radha Krishna said that working with prominent technicians adds a sense of safety and confidence to the film. He mentioned that collaborations with Devi Sri Prasad, Senthil, and Sai were memorable, and every frame of the film is significant.
In the song Let’s Live This Moment, Kiriti and Sreeleela are featured. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Kannada lyrics are by Pavan Bhat, and vocals are by Nakul Abhyankar.
Junior is directed by Radha Krishna Reddy, known for Mayabazar. The film is produced by Varahi Chalana Chitra, a South Indian production house, and is said to be made on a big budget. The film features a large star cast.
The technical crew includes music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar (Baahubali), and stunt direction by Indian action director Peter Hein. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on July 18.
