March 8 marks International Women’s Day. To celebrate this special occasion, the female cast of the film Just Married came together under the guidance of director C.R. Bobby for a unique celebration. The film’s lead actress Ankita Amar, along with Shruti Krishna, Malavika Avinash, Shruti Hariharan, Vani Harikrishna, and director Bobby, celebrated Women’s Day by cutting a cake and sharing their thoughts.
Actress Shruti Krishna expressed her excitement about working in a female-directed film after many years. She recalled being impressed by Bobby’s working style from the very first day of shooting. “Her dedication to work is truly commendable. It has been a pleasure acting with this team. I hope this film, produced by Ajaneesh, achieves great success,” she said.
Women in the technical field of cinema are still a rarity. C.R. Bobby, who has been active in the music industry for several years, is making her directorial debut with Just Married. Actress Malavika Avinash shared her thoughts on working in the film: “Not even once during the shoot did it feel like this was Bobby’s first directorial venture. Her approach was so precise and well-organized. I agreed to act in this film because of her, and also because it was directed by a woman. Ajaneesh Lokanath has ensured that this film is made without any compromises. I wish Just Married to be a huge success.”

Singer-turned-actress Vani Harikrishna spoke about her journey in the film: “I’ve known Bobby for a long time. I was thrilled when I learned she was directing Just Married. One day, she called and asked me to act in the film. Singing is easy for me, but acting was new. She trained me before the shoot, which made my experience much smoother. This film features many senior and junior artists, and it was a joy to work with all of them.”
Lead actress Ankita Amar and actress Shruti Hariharan also expressed their happiness in being part of Just Married. On the occasion of Women’s Day, they extended their best wishes to director Bobby and all the female artists in the film.
Director C.R. Bobby shared her heartfelt thoughts: “It is a great honor for me to have legendary actress Shruti Krishna as part of my directorial debut. Malavika Avinash has played a significant role, adding more weight to the film. Shruti Hariharan will be seen in a unique role that is sure to captivate the audience. Vani Harikrishna’s character will bring smiles to everyone’s faces. Lead actress Ankita Amar portrays a modern-day woman with depth and authenticity.”
Produced under the ABBS Studios banner by Ajaneesh Lokanath and C.R. Bobby, Just Married is a highly anticipated film starring Bigg Boss fame Shine Shetty and Ankita Amar in the lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens soon.
