Kannada actor Vijay Kumar, known for his intense performances, is all set to play the antagonist in Mookuthi Amman 2, starring Nayanthara. Directed by Sundar C, the film recently held its pooja ceremony at Prasad Studio in Chennai.
Vijay, who made a strong impact as a villain in Balakrishna’s Telugu film Veera Simha Reddy and even won a SIIMA award for his role, has now bagged another major opportunity in Tamil. With a budget exceeding ₹100 crore, Mookuthi Amman 2 is expected to be a grand entertainer.
Apart from this project, Vijay is currently busy with the Kannada film Land Lord and is also working on his directorial venture, City Lights. His entry into Tamil films as a villain is seen as a major breakthrough in his career.
