In the upcoming Kannada movie X&Y, the auto rickshaw has been promoted as “Ambu Auto” and has attracted everyone’s attention. All the facilities of an ambulance have been installed in this auto, and it has been used artistically, almost like a character in the film. Upon learning about this, auto drivers personally met the film’s director, Satyaprakash, and said, “The auto was ‘Mithra’ all these days, and now with this Ambu Auto, it has become ‘Aptha Mithra’.”
Satyaprakash spoke highly of the Ambu Auto, saying that it has now been transformed into an ‘Ambu Auto’ and made into a ‘close friend’ of all. Some of the drivers expressed their happiness and shared that they had decided to use their autos as ‘Ambu Autos’ for public assistance.
In this regard, the “Ambu Auto” was displayed at the free health check-up and blood donation camp, Samajmukhi Samavesh, organized by the Bengaluru Sarathi Sena Auto Drivers Association of Jayanagar, Bengaluru, in November. A detailed explanation about it was given at the event. Additionally, all the drivers were given an ECG check-up in the Ambu Auto.
X&Y is director Sathyaprakash’s fourth film. The first three films—Rama Rama Re, Ondalla Erdalla, and Man of the Match—were films with unique storylines. While Rama Rama Re won the state award for Best Film, Ondalla Eradalla bagged two national awards.
Satya Prakash seems to have mastered the art of cinema, and we hope he continues this in X&Y. The movie X&Y will hit theaters in January or February.
