The Muhurta ceremony of the movie Gauri Shankara was held in a grand manner at Sri Vinayaka Venkateswara Temple. Senior producer Rajanna turned on the camera, while Sivalinga (Gajnoor) clapped for the first scene and extended his best wishes.
Mahesh Chinmayi, who has directed many films, is both writing the story and directing Gauri Shankara. The production is being handled by Shubh Film Factory and Team.
The film’s plot centers on a young gold medalist who, despite his academic merit, struggles to secure a suitable job. The story explores how he overcomes challenges with his intellectual abilities, ultimately paving the way for others.
The cast includes fresh talents like Sunilbhangi, Abhishek, Kusuma, and Priyanaganna, alongside veteran actors such as Biradar, Gururaj Hosakote, Killer Venkatesh, Bhavya, N.S. Devaraj (Nittoor), Manoj, Harish, Subramani Mallasandra, Prakash Rajkumar, Chandramurthy, Manjunath B., Mohan Chitradurga, and others.
The technical crew features Maharaj as the music composer, Ravi T. Gowda as the cinematographer, Ravithej C.H. as the editor, with action choreography by Thriller Manju and Vinodh, and dance choreography by Karianand. Filming is planned around locations such as Shivamogga, Thirthahalli, Sagar, Jog, and Bangalore.
