Amit Trivedi, one of India’s premier music composers, has been enlisted to compose the music for the upcoming Kannada film, Uttarakhanda.
Esteemed Bollywood music director and vocalist, Amit Trivedi, has been tapped to lend his musical talents to Uttarakhanda, sparking heightened anticipation and buzz surrounding the much-awaited, star-studded movie. The involvement of a renowned Bollywood music director in scoring for “Uttarakhanda” has significantly raised the film’s expectations.
Amit Trivedi, recognized for his distinctive musical style and originality, enjoys a vast fan base, solidifying his position as one of the top music composers in the contemporary Bollywood scene. His impressive repertoire includes notable works such as Dev D, Queen, Wake Up Sid, English Vinglish, Kai Po Che, Lootera, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Secret Superstar, Manmarziyan, Andhadun, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, along with recent projects like the web series Jubilee and the film Shaitaan. Collaborating with acclaimed filmmakers such as Anurag Kashyap and Amir Khan, Amit Trivedi has left an indelible mark on the industry. The production team has confirmed Charan Raj’s involvement in scoring music solely for the film’s promotional content, while Amit Trivedi will handle the music composition for the entire movie.
Amit Trivedi’s musical compositions for the Hindi film “Queen,” featuring Kangana Ranawat, have been retained for the upcoming remakes in all South Indian languages, including the Kannada film “Butterfly.”

“Uttarakhanda” is an upcoming action drama set against the backdrop of North Karnataka, directed by Rohit Padaki and produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj under the banner of KRG Studios. Starring the renowned actor Dr. Shivarajkumar and the talented Dhananjay in lead roles, with the female lead yet to be finalized, the film is slated to commence filming on April 15th in Vijayapura and its environs.
