The experienced stage play director, writer, and actor Ranga Shekhar leaps into cinema with over 20 years of experience in the field of art. He also introduces his son, Mohan Ranganath, as a hero, with the beautiful Manya playing the lead role.

Director RC Ranga Shekhar has adapted one of his writings and added entertainment value to “Muktha Manasu” – showcasing the story of innocent lovers facing an uphill task in this film. “Muktha Manasu” carries the caption “Kelade Nimageega.” An auto driver shows sympathy to a girl, and later, they fall in love. A DFT graduate, Ranga Shekhar has brought in senior actors such as Shobaraj, Ramesh Pandit, Century Gowda, Aparna, Nagarathna, Janu, Manju Bilikere, Madhu, and some theater actors. He plans to release the film on April 12 all over Karnataka.

The president of the Kannada Film Chamber of Commerce, Krishne Gowda, released the trailer and a song of the film “Muktha Manasu.” A senior in the field, Krishne Gowda, saw some interesting work in the film. He urged the MM team to make use of social media for film promotion, citing the loss of audiences in theaters. He noted that only a few out of hundreds of films released in a year manage to recover in the box office.

Kaurava Venkatesh appreciated the caliber of hero Mohan because he did not use a stunt double for the two action sequences in his debut.

A professional dancer and finalist in the ETV dance program and Dance Karnataka Dance champion, Mohan Ranganath, relying on his father’s abilities, put in hard work to offer something different to Kannada audiences with this film. “My father has written several stage plays and directed them too. He wanted to appear in front of the camera in his younger days but is now realizing his dreams through me,” added Mohan Ranganath.

Manya, with her pretty looks, has acted in three other films that have not yet been released. She thanked the team members for providing a conducive atmosphere to work. Manya, a classical dancer, portrays the role of Manasu in the film.

Venkatesh, Bore Gowda, and Lokesh from Mysuru, involved in real estate, are investors in this film. Initially, they considered making a short film, but upon seeing director Ranga Shekhar’s capabilities, they insisted on making a feature film.

Vaishak Shashidhar composed the music, and Vinu Manasu handled the background score. Sathya and Pramod served as dance directors, while Zoom Ravi, the cinematographer, believes that Mohan has gained fame in dance in Hyderabad. He emphasizes the need to promote Kannada talents like him.
