A film based on the Battle of Gangasagar, which holds an important place in the history of the Indian Army, is gearing up for its theatrical release. Titled ‘Param Veer’, the film is directed by Sumanth Rathuri, with Vardhan Puri playing the lead role.
‘Param Veer’ aims to bring to the big screen the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The film is being produced by Sagar Gowda and Sumanth Rathuri under the banners of Myradha Motion Pictures and HVJ Media. The film will be released in both Hindi and Kannada.
An interesting aspect of the project is that Karnataka-based producer Sagar Gowda has invested in this Bollywood film. According to Sagar Gowda, ‘Param Veer’ is not merely an attempt to produce a film. It is an important responsibility to bring to audiences the heroic story of Indian soldiers who risked their lives for the nation and to introduce future generations to the significance of their sacrifice.
Apart from its patriotic storyline, ‘Param Veer’ is also being made on a grand technical scale. The motion teaser of ‘Param Veer’ has received an enthusiastic response. The film team has now released the motion poster and official poster. With post-production work nearing completion, the makers are planning to bring the film before audiences at the earliest.
