The song “Kundapurada Hennivalu” from ‘Love Towards Family’, directed by Chandramohan of ‘Double Engine’ and ‘Forest’ fame, was recently released along with a press meet.
Actor Manoranjan Ravichandran unveiled the song and wished the team success. The song has lyrics by Nagarjuna Sharma, vocals by Vijay Prakash, and music composed by Anandleela. Directors Bharjari Chetan Kumar and Mahesh Kumar, actor Manju Pavagada and others attended the event as chief guests.
‘Love towards Family’ is produced by Lingaraj Bidar, the film stars newcomers Dheeraj and Radhe as the lead pair.
Director Chandramohan said that after ‘Forest’, he and Dheeraj had worked on a story together, but a similar storyline appeared in ‘Yelumale’ Kannada film. They then developed a completely different story. The film unfolds over 11 days between a death and the subsequent ‘thithi’ ceremony, during which a love story begins. The narrative revolves primarily around the hero and heroine. The film has three songs, with Rajesh Anandleela composing the music. The film was shot around Kundapur and Thirthahalli and is planned for an October release.
Lead actor Dheeraj said he was earlier part of Mysuru’s Rangavalli theatre group and later worked in ‘Madagaja’ and as an associate on television serials. He said this journey began last July, when he and the director started developing the story while sitting in a park. After several discussions, the story was finalized, and he credited producer Lingaraj Bidar for giving strength to their dream.
Producer Lingaraj Bidar said this is his first film as a producer and that the hero and director were the reason he ventured into production. He added that the film has come out very well and sought the audience’s blessings.
Lead actress Radhe, making her debut with the film said the story is suited to the present generation. Lyricist Nagarjuna Sharma also spoke about the songs.
