“Vishnuvallabha” Starring Shaan and Sanya Iyer Begins on Sri Krishna Janmashtami day – The muhurat ceremony of Vishnuvallabha, being produced by Ruhina Rehman under the RR Films banner and directed by Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, was held at Kanteerava Studios on the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. Shaan and Sanya Iyer play the lead pair in the film.
Karnataka Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan gave the clap for the first scene, while producer and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Vice-President K. Manju switched on the camera. Veteran producer Rehman and others were present at the muhurat ceremony.
Ruhina Rehman is the daughter of Rehman, who has produced several super hit films including ‘Yajamana’, starring Vishnuvardhan, and ‘Huccha’, starring Sudeepa. Having earlier produced Ganesh-starrer ‘Maduve Mane’, ‘Vishnuvallabha’ is Ruhina Rehman’s second production. The film is a love story, for which Ruhina has also written the story and is serving as the Creative Head.
Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, director of Rathavara, is directing the film. K.S. Chandrashekar is the cinematographer, K.M. Prakash is the editor, Ravivarma is handling the action choreography, and Sridhar V. Sambhram is the music director. Rajshekhar has penned the dialogues.
Shaan plays the protagonist, marking his debut as an actor. He has undergone the necessary preparation for the role. Sanya Iyer, known for ‘Puttagowri Maduve’, plays the female lead. KGF fame Avinash, Sampath, Sangeetha, Swathi, Yash Shetty and others are part of the cast.
The first schedule of shooting will begin in Bengaluru from next week, followed by shoots in Sri Lanka and other locations.
