‘Life Today’ is the debut film of producer Meghana Pradeep, starring Kiran Aditya and Lekha Chandra in the lead roles, and directed by Kantha Kannalli.
The songs of the film, composed by Sridhar V. Sambhram, have already won the hearts of the audience. Now, the team has officially released the trailer and also announced the film’s release date.
The trailer of Life Today appears promising, presenting the conflicts, clashes, love, values, and loyalty of today’s younger generation. The chemistry between newcomer Kiran Aditya and actress Lekha Chandra stands out as a highlight. Though the film appears to be a contemporary love story at first glance, Life Today seems to have plenty of twists and turns.
Although the hero is a newcomer, the rest of the team comprises experienced artists. The film features a strong cast including Tabala Nani, Cockroach Sudhi, Jaggappa, Yukta, Ratharv, and many others.
Dia producer Krishna Chaitanya and Vamana producer Chetan Gowda released the trailer of Life Today and wished the team success, saying that this is “content that will win.”
Lead actor Kiran Aditya said that the film deals with issues relevant to this generation and that audiences will like it. Director Kantha Kannalli said they have made a cinematic attempt to touch the hearts of the audience with a story that is very close to the lives of today’s teenagers. Cockroach Sudhi, who plays a role in the film, expressed confidence that the team’s efforts would be successful.
Veteran actor Tabala Nani said that he plays Lekha Chandra’s father in the film and that Lekha Chandra is the central character. He added that her performance in the film is worthy of a National Award.
Speaking on the occasion, Lekha Chandra became emotional while recalling the loss of her father during the making of the film. Actor and director Sundeep Malani was also present at the media briefing of ‘Life Today’.
With the release of the trailer, the official promotional campaign for Life Today has begun. The film is set for a statewide release on August 6.
