Producer Harish Jalagere, who earlier produced ‘Just Madveli’ and ‘Rajannana Maga’, has made his directorial debut with “Boys Never Compromise.” The trailer launch event of the film, which is set to release across Karnataka on July 10, was recently held at the Karnataka Film Artists Association.
The film has been produced by Ujwala Nagaraj Jagadale under the Marigold Studios banner. Harish Jalagere had earlier worked as an associate director for Kolara Seenu. On the occasion, the team shared information about the film.
This horror-comedy revolves around ten boys who set out on a fun trip and the unexpected troubles they land themselves in.
Speaking on the occasion, director Harish Jalagere said, “Along with horror and comedy, the film also carries a good message. It is based on a real incident that happened in my friends’ lives. Once, a group of boys went on a fun trip. We developed the script by adding cinematic elements and commercial masala to those incidents. The story shows what all happens during the journey of boys who set out to enjoy themselves forgetting all their tensions, how horror enters their journey, what can happen in their lives when they make hasty decisions, and how they end up getting connected with a ghost while trying to play pranks.
The teaser, songs, and trailer have already received a good response. We are releasing the film on July 10 in 80 to 90 theatres across Karnataka.”
Kolara Seenu said, “Our film has come out very well. It is releasing across the state this Friday. We seek everyone’s support.”
Music director Loki Tavasya said, “This is a film we made with great passion and enjoyment. It will connect well with the youth. I am confident it will be one of the best films of the year.”
Actress Nakshatra, who has earlier done modeling and small roles and plays the heroine in the film, said, “I play the character of Subbalakshmi. It is a daredevil kind of role. The film has comedy with a touch of horror. We have all struggled a lot for this film.”
Actor Rajeev Reddy said, “I play the role of an Assistant Commissioner in the film. The movie has been made with very good quality.”
The film features mostly newcomers including Samrat, Nakshatra, Supreeth Kati, Seetharam, Mandya Siddu, Rajeev Reddy, Umesh Kinnal, Gajendra, Hemanth Gowda, and Rajaraja Chola.
“Boys Never Compromise” has music by Loki Tavasya, background score by M.S. Thyagaraj, cinematography by Pramod Bharatiya, and editing by Karthik Eshwarachari.
The songs of the film have been sung by Chandan Shetty, Anthony Daasan, and Aishwarya Rangarajan.
