Mysuru-based automobile engineer Nahesh Pol is investing under the Radical Concept Studio banner, besides writing the story, screenplay, and directing his third film titled “Trying to Save the World,” which is aimed at benefiting society.

As the first phase of the film’s publicity, he presented a model explaining the concept of the film before the media at the auditorium of S.E.A. College of Engineering and gave a detailed explanation. Supporting this initiative, the college’s Joint Secretary K. Anupama and HOD P.R. Krishnakumar assured that they would extend complete support from their side to the director’s efforts.

Speaking later, the director said that in the present ‘Satya Yuga’, a competition has been organized among engineers based on the concept of roads, and this forms a part of the film. When he initially started writing something, it would later come true. Such incidents that appeared in reels were happening in real life.

The film was started 2,217 days ago, and he is playing a similar character in it. That means he is acting as an engineering student participating in the competition. Today, roads are in poor condition, while people are being charged for petrol, diesel, taxes, toll fees, and other expenses.

He said it is unfortunate that Karnataka has the highest road tax in India. Realizing this, why shouldn’t there be an effort to provide better roads to society? If the film shows how people can get their money back through such an initiative, everyone will understand it quickly. We are living in ‘Kali Yuga’ and should move towards ‘Satya Yuga’. If we ourselves prepare the roads and provide them to society, there will be savings. To demonstrate how this can be done, he prepared a model and presented it before the media.

Nahesh Pol further revealed that this cannot be achieved by one person alone. Therefore, a competition is being conducted to identify engineers who have talent and interest. He added that this concept will appear in the climax of the film.
