‘MRUTYUDEVATE’ SET FOR STATEWIDE RELEASE THIS FRIDAY

Mrutyudevate, produced and directed by Naveen Mahadev, is scheduled for release across Karnataka this Friday. The film is based on issues such as sexual assault, exploitation and violence against women in society. According to the makers, the story explores how women become trapped in the schemes of deceitful individuals, the struggles they face in attempting to escape such situations, and the measures they take against those responsible.

The film features a women-centric narrative revolving around the lives of three young women who become victims of exploitation and deception. Along with directing the project, Naveen Mahadev also plays a key role in the film. The cast includes Vinaya Prasad, Sarika Rao, Diana, Himashree, Naveen Mahadev, Maheen, Pavan Shetty and Surya in prominent roles. Ahead of its release, the film’s trailer and songs have been released and have garnered significant viewership online.

Speaking about the film, director Naveen Mahadev said that the project has been made with the intention of addressing a social issue rather than serving only as entertainment. He stated that the film aims to create awareness and could serve as an inspiration to many viewers. He also said that parents should watch the film along with their daughters, adding that the story portrays the consequences when a woman’s patience reaches its limit.

The film has been produced by Saraswathi, wife of director Naveen Mahadev, under the Varshitha Productions banner. The technical team includes cinematographer Anirudh, music director Shivaprasad, choreographer Raghu, action directors Ultimate Shivu and Chitta Jadhav, editor Manju Vikram and art director Ganesh.

Mrutyudevate will be released in theatres across the state on Friday.
