The trailer of Deadly Killer, directed by stunt choreographer Thriller Manju, was recently unveiled by actress Ragini Dwivedi. The film marks Thriller Manju’s return to direction nearly 15 years after Police Story.
Produced by Prashanth T. Tambrallimath under the Keerthi Silver Screen and Vedic Cosmos banners, the film stars Sambhrama fame Abhay Veer and Niveeksha in the lead roles. The film is based on action, suspense, thriller and horror elements and is gearing up for release.
Actors Ravichethan and Victory Vasu attended the trailer launch event as guests and extended their wishes to the team.
Speaking at the event, Ragini Dwivedi said that the number six is considered lucky in the film industry and that she had the opportunity to launch the trailer on June 6, 2026. Recalling her early days in cinema, she said that Thriller Manju had choreographed the action sequences for her debut film. She also stated that Abhay had supported her family during difficult times and emphasized the importance of audiences supporting films made by newcomers to help the Kannada film industry grow.
Producer Prashanth T. Tambrallimath said that Abhay is his friend and that he got acquainted with Thriller Manju through him. He added that he later learned the production process and expressed satisfaction with the way the film had shaped up.
Actor Abhay Veer remembered executive producer Vinay, who is no longer alive, and said that he had been involved in all aspects of the film’s work. He revealed that the film features six different action sequences and that he appears throughout the film in a single costume. Abhay said that Thriller Manju has been a mentor to him both professionally and personally. He added that although his family is involved in business in North Karnataka, he chose cinema out of passion. He also noted that despite acting in eight films over 25 years, he still rides a bicycle.
Actress Niveeksha said that she plays the role of the protagonist’s wife and a homemaker in the film. She added that her character has two shades.
Director Thriller Manju said that he had known Abhay for a long time and had narrated the film’s premise to him. According to the director, Abhay liked the story and introduced him to the producer. He said that the film’s narrative moves at a fast pace and described Abhay as a good actor. He also said that he initially had concerns about how the heroine would perform but was satisfied with her portrayal of the role.
Thriller Manju stated that the film combines suspense and thriller elements with a distinctive narration. He revealed that the story revolves around six gangsters who escape into a forest and how the protagonist traps and captures them.
Deadly Killer features three songs composed by Vinu Manasu. The film’s cinematography is by Mallikarjun and editing is by Deepu. Thriller Manju has choreographed all six action sequences in the film. Post-production work has been handled by Vedic Veer.
The cast also includes Lokendra Surya, Thriller Manju, Sunil Balder, Puneeth and Abhi in supporting roles.
Deadly Killer is scheduled for release across Karnataka soon.
