The Kannada film Majestic-2 is set to release across Karnataka this week in more than 200 theatres. The film has been produced by H. Anandappa of Chitradurga under the banner Amma Enterprizes.
Bharath Kumar, son of senior producer Shilpa Srinivas, is making his debut as a lead actor with this film. Actor Darshan had earlier gained significant recognition with the film Majestic.
Senior actress Shruti plays the role of the protagonist’s mother. Actress Samhitha Vinnya appears as the female lead in the film.
The Regional Censor Board has granted the film a U/A certificate. The story of Majestic-2 revolves around the present-day condition of Bengaluru’s Majestic area, depicting the illegal activities, rackets, and instances of rowdyism that continue to take place there. The narrative is told through the story of a boy born and brought up in the locality.
The film has been shot in multiple locations including the Majestic area in Bengaluru, Ramohalli, HMT, Sakre Adda near Makali, Nisarga House in R.T. Nagar, and Murugha Math in Chitradurga.
A hero introduction song featuring Malashri was filmed at R.S. Gowda’s studio.
The film features five songs composed by Vinu Manasu. Venus Murthy has handled cinematography, Vijaykumar has worked as associate director, and Chinnayya has served as the stunt director.
