POSTER OF ‘SARKARI NYAYABELE ANGADI’ RELEASED BY UNION MINISTER V. SOMANNA

The poster of the Kannada film Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi was released by Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways V. Somanna. The film has completed its shooting and has moved into post-production.

As indicated by its title, Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi revolves around government fair price shops and the ration distribution system. The film is set against a rural backdrop and has been entirely shot in Mandya district over a span of 52 days in and around the region.

Speaking at the poster release event, Union Minister V. Somanna said that both the central and state governments work to ensure that common people and the poor do not suffer from hunger by distributing essential commodities and food through government fair price shops. He stated that certain shortcomings in the system have prevented its objectives from being fully realized. He added that the film team is bringing this subject to audiences through cinema and expressed hope that the film would create public awareness and achieve success.

Lead actor Kumar Bangarappa said the film is the first in the country to focus on government fair price shops and the ration system. He noted that the story is set in a rural environment and combines entertainment with a message. According to him, the film portrays the transactions and alleged malpractices that occur in fair price shops and is designed to connect with a wide range of audiences. He also said the shoot in Mandya’s rural locations was completed without the team realizing how quickly the schedule had progressed and mentioned that he was part of a socially relevant subject after a long time.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi plays the role of Parvati, a rural woman, in the film. Actors Kumar Bangarappa and Dodanna are also part of the cast.

Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi is being produced under the banner of Jayashankar Talkies by Teju Murthy and Padmavathi Chandrashekar. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by B. Ramamurthy. The film is directed and shot by Sathvik Pavan Kumar. Music for the songs is composed by Ananth Aryan.

Producers B.M. Harish, B.M. Girish, Cheluva Murthy, along with several members from the film and political circles, were present at the poster release event.

The team is currently engaged in post-production work and is preparing for a release in the middle of this year. Apart from Kannada, the makers are planning to release the film in other Indian languages as well.
