Title – Seat Edge, Producer – Giridhar T Vasanthpura, Direction – Chetan Shetty, Cinematography – Deepak Kumar J, Music – Akash Parva, Cast – Siddu Mulemani, Ravisha Shetty, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Girish Shivanna, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Mimicry Gopi, Kiran Nayakar, Puneeth Babu and others.

‘Seat Edge’ happens only in the second half of the film, but the first half is mediocre, stretching to a two hours and seven minutes narration by director Chetan Shetty. Of course, the film needed trimming and should have taken the audience quickly to the Ghost Town for many surprising elements. The Kannada film ‘Seat Edge’ gathers momentum once the 100-year-old house strikes on the screen.
Director Chetan Shetty seems to be an avid viewer of ghost films. He has captivating moments once the journey of Siddu, a YouTuber, reaches the spot for one of his biggest assignments without even informing his caring parents.

Although we get to know that Siddu travels with his lover Nandini (Raviksha Shetty) and Raghu (Raghu Ramanakoppa), a yoga teacher, the one who joins later is Inspector Shambunath (Girish Shivanna). As the four enter the tragic house of a mining owner for a ghost hunt, the David and Mary story unravels. A few paranormal activities hold the breath of the viewers.
Out of the four, only Siddu is left at the end, but he learns, to his surprise, that the remaining did not travel with him for the ghost hunt adventure. This also makes us understand that ghost power involvement, led by Sampath, an intelligent youth. The issue of a locket also plays a crucial role in the final stages. All this you have to watch on the silver screen!

Siddu Mulemani is striking, especially in the second half. The sidekicks Raghu Ramanakoppa and Girish Shivanna have not worked out well. The debutant Ravisha Shetty has nothing much to prove her mettle. There is nothing much for Mimicry Gopi and Lakshmi Siddaiah. Kiran Nayakar has a short cameo role.
The music composition of Akash Parva, ‘Life Eko Kaali…’ and ‘Eno Ondu Madade Kelo Anjike…’, are good in melody and singing. For all horror and ghost movie lovers, this film keeps them engaging in the second half.
