“Who am I?” asks Swaartha Ratna Adarsh Gunduraj. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he is now in his next women-oriented film, Calendar.
After acting in two films including Swaartha Ratna, Adarsh Gunduraj is currently playing the lead role in the film Calendar. The song titled Naanyaaru from this film was recently released on the Anand Audio YouTube channel. The calendar, specially made for the coming 100 years, was declared open by Adarsh Gunduraj’s son, Drushyan.
The song has been receiving appreciation and is garnering a large number of views. Recently, the song release event was held grandly, after which members of the film team addressed the media.
“After Swaartha Ratna, I have acted as the lead in this film. This is the third film in which I am acting as a hero. Years keep passing by, but to identify each day, a calendar is very helpful to us. There is a connection between the title and the film. I myself have written the story and produced the film. This story will be very close to women in particular. The shooting for the film has already been completed, and it is currently in post-production.
“Today, the first song titled Naanyaaro has been unveiled. Sanjay Y. B. H. and Naveen Shakti have written this song, and my daughter Anushka Kaginele has sung it. Hrithik Poojary and Sanjay have also joined in the singing. Music has been composed by Sunad Gowtham. This song is available on the Anand Audio YouTube channel,” said hero and producer Adarsh Gunduraj.
Adarsh plays a doctor in a key role, while his wife, who is also a real-life doctor, Deepa, has acted in the film Calendar. The role of Malashri connects to the main point of the film. “I am very sure the subject handled in this film has not been touched upon so far in the cinema industry,” says Adarsh Gunduraj.
“I am originally from theatre. I have done more than 5,000 street plays. This is my first film as a director. In Calendar, Adarsh Gunduraj has written a story that will connect with everyone’s heart. Cinematography is by Ramesh Koira, and music director Sunad Gowtham has composed three songs for the film.
“Adarsh Gunduraj has acted as the hero in this film. Sushmita and Nivishka Patil are the heroines and carry anger-filled roles. The Dream Queen Malashree appears in a special role. Ramesh Indira, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Tuminadu, Suchendra Prasad, and others are part of the cast. Today, the first song has been released. The film will hit the screens soon,” said director Naveen Shakti.
Music director Sunad Gowtham, with vast experience of over 5,000 songs across various categories and more than twenty films, along with singer Anushka, also spoke about the song.
