This film ‘Vidhushaka’, shaped by experience, hard work and passion, receives appreciation from industry dignitaries – Releasing across Karnataka on November 20.

The trailer launch and press meet of ‘Vidushaka’, produced under the banner of Yash Bijoor Productions and written, scripted and directed by Yashwanth Bijoor, was recently held. Director K.M. Chaitanya unveiled the film’s trailer and wished the team success. The film is scheduled for a statewide release on November 20.

Speaking on the occasion, K.M. Chaitanya said, “I have known Yashwanth since the time of my first film. He has dubbed for several of my films and has also acted in a television serial produced by me. He has several years of experience in the film industry, and it is a happy occasion to see him now producing and directing a film of his own. Most of the members of this film team are close to me. I wish the film great success and request everyone to support it.”

A dubbing artist for last two decades plus director Yashwanth Bijoor said, “I have had the dream of making a film for many years. While pursuing acting and dubbing assignments, I nurtured this dream, and I have given it shape through ‘Vidushaka’. The film’s journey, in its present form, has taken approximately three years. We had extensive discussions with Parameshwar regarding the story, budget and production. After several changes, the film finally took shape. Even before the shoot began, we had planned every scene, lighting arrangement and visual composition. We have made this film with hard work, love and passion.

“‘Vidushaka’ is a comedy-based crime thriller. The story, which begins on a humorous note, revolves around the protagonist’s fear called ‘Gynophobia’. The story has been developed based on inspiration from a real-life incident.

“The film features a title song, a romantic song and a club song. Only the club song is part of the film, while the romantic song is closely connected to the narrative in the second half. Since we did not want it to affect the pace of the investigation, we are releasing it as a lyrical video.”

Lead actor Ravi Saliyan said, “I thank Yashwanth for giving me the opportunity to act in this film. The support from my co-artists and technicians was excellent. We need the support of our media friends to take the film to the audience. I request everyone to encourage and support our film.”

Lead actress Amrutha Upar said, “I began my career as a journalist and later worked in television. Through ‘Vidushaka’, I am making my debut as a lead actress in the Kannada film industry. This film, which is Yashwanth’s dream project, has been made with a great deal of love and hard work. Cinematographer Parameshwar and all the technicians and co-artists have extended excellent support. I seek the audience’s blessings for our film.”

Cinematographer Parameshwar also spoke about the film’s visual composition and his experiences during the shoot.

Heddooru Manjunath Shetty, Nipun, Suhas Atreyas, editor Nagendra Aras and Vijay Rai of Bhuvi Music, among others associated with the film, shared their experiences of working on ‘Vidushaka’.
