Star Suvarna, which has been taking bold steps towards bringing innovative and unique serials to Kannada audiences, is now all set to launch a new story titled ‘Oh Manase’. Produced by Ganapathi Bhat under the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Creations, the serial is directed by B. Madhusudhan.
The impossible love story of two contrasting minds, ‘Oh Manase’, begins on November 10, Tuesday. Every day at 8:30 PM on Star Suvarna and Jio Hotstar!
Raaga, the female protagonist, has grown up in a middle-class family in Mysuru. Education is her life, and reading books is her favorite pastime. She believes that education is not merely a means to earn a degree but a pathway to freedom. Professor Kalyani is the biggest inspiration in Raaga’s life. However, despite having dreams that reach the skies, her own father stands as an obstacle to her aspirations.
Rishi, the male protagonist, belongs to a wealthy family and is the head of a prestigious educational institution. He is a person who lives with complete control over all his emotions. Rishi has no faith in the very concept of love. Having been deprived of his mother Kalyani’s love and affection, he harbors deep resentment towards her.
Will the long-standing differences between Kalyani and Jayaram, which have remained unresolved for years, finally come to an end as Raaga and Rishi, two individuals with completely different personalities, embark on their journey together? How will Raaga fulfil her dreams by going against her father’s wishes? Is it possible for Raaga and Rishi, whose personalities are poles apart, to come together? These questions form the crux of the story.
Featuring a wonderful ensemble cast, actor Darshak Gowda plays the male lead Rishi, while actress Madhumitha Gowda portrays the female lead Raaga. The serial also features several experienced artistes, including Ashwini Gowda, Ajith Hande, Rekha Krishnappa, Ramesh Pandit, Sahana, Pramod Raj, Deepa Katte and Nisarga Annappa, among others.
‘Vasudeva Kutumba’ is moving to a new time slot. From Tuesday, November 10, watch it every day at 9:00 PM.
